Welcome to Mansfield Township Cub Scout Pack 222

Cub Scouting has been around for over 75 years and this Pack is celebrating our 45^thyear!

We will be working very hard this year to make our 45^thyear the best yet! Please help us make this a successful year by volunteering to lend a helping hand. The more help we have the more fun we can offer the scouts themselves.

Annual Popcorn Fundraiser a Success!

Thanks to all who supported Pack 222 in meeting its fundraising goal via popcorn sales. This is our ONLY fundraiser each year, so every little bit helps! The Pack receives 37% of all gross sales!

The Pack had two Show N Sell locations during the fundraiser event - thanks to Lowe's Hackettstown and Donaldson Farms! Both businesses were very welcoming and we hope to partner with them again in 2012.

Through Show N Sell, personal Pack efforts and online sales, the group exceeded last years total sales by 5%, meeting the goal for district which resulted in additional financial support from the Central NJ Council! Way to go Pack 222!

We will be seeking out locations for our Popcorn Show N Sell events between September 1st and October 31st this Fall. These events allow the scouts to demonstrate selling skills directly with the consumer. Best of all the scouts have fun working together! Product is on hand and available for immediate delivery. If you know of a location that would be willing to provide the scouts a few hours of selling time please speak to any of our leaders. Adult volunteers are also needed for these events.

Distant relatives can also help out by purchasing popcorn online and having the product delivered directly to them! Purchases earn money for the Pack and also count towards any prizes the scout is working towards.

Please speak to your leaders if you would like to lend a hand in any way this Fall!

How do I Join?

It's never too late to join Cub Scouts! If you have a boy in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade you can always sign up for Cub Scouts.

Boy Scouting is open to any boy between the ages of 11 and 18.

Active, committed Leaders and parents are the heart and soul of a successful Troop. You don't need to have any special abilities to make a huge difference in a young man's life. Volunteer to help at one of our many events; you'll be glad you did!
